Murray James-Bosch

has thrilled audiences around North America for 30 years with his versatile vocal performances. Well known for his work with the Classic Albums Live series, Murray has toured the US and Canada in addition to performing with many Toronto-area bands through the years. Highlights include performing at Toronto's Massey Hall and Roy Thomson Hall, the New Jersey Performing Arts Centre, Mohegan Sun Casino, and the Hard Rock Theatre at Universal Studios in Orlando. Murray's singing is also easily identifiable in one of Canada's most successful radio and TV commercials: Alarm Force!

Second Wave

A tribute to Classic New Wave Rock

It's the mid-1970s and punk has turned the corporate rock world upside down. Rebellious, loud, obnoxious...it is a formidable antidote to the stale, predictable world of record label stable bands and their limousines, accountants, and cliched entitlements. Out of this upstart atmosphere of non-conformity came bands that simply couldn't or wouldn't fit into any genre or category. A New Wave of music combined the energy of punk with an accessible brand of lyrics and melody that gave the awkward, the shy, the rebels, and the dreamers an outlet for expression.

Now comes a Second Wave: a five-piece band that recreates the energy and passion of New Wave music with select songs by artists like The Police, The Pretenders, Blondie, Joe Jackson, Elvis Costello and the Attractions, XTC, Squeeze, The Knack, and others.

When they hit the stage it's a non-stop pogo party of hopping and bopping to an energetic revival of guitar-based classic New Wave rock.

Get out the skinny ties and shades -- it's time for the Second Wave.

Murray brings his remarkable versatility to this tribute celebrating the solo and collaborative work of two of rock's most distinctive voices.

For nearly 20 years, Murray sang with this highly popular series at venues throughout North America, recreating live renditions of classic rock albums. Highlights include Elton John, Meat Loaf, Billy Joel, U2, The Police, Supertramp, The Who, Pink Floyd, Eagles, and Fleetwood Mac.

Over the Garden Wall

A highly successful tribute to Genesis. Murray's portrayal of Peter Gabriel and Phil Collins helped make this one of the top tribute acts in North America.

Dramazoid

Murray fronted this four-piece band performing modern and classic rock hits throughout the Greater Toronto Area.

Foolish Heart

A tribute to the multi-AMA and Grammy Award winning band, The Mavericks. Based in the Greater Toronto Area.
